Our skin serves a very practical purpose: to protect us from the outside. It also contributes to regulating temperature and tactile sensations.

But it’s much more than that, isn’t it? Our skin is often a critical part of our identity, our looks, our confidence.

We have developed a line of topicals to tackle top skin concerns: dehydration, hyperpigmentation, sun damage, acne-scarring, and ageing signs.

Our topicals are prescription-grade and loaded with bioactive ingredients. They efficiently target areas of concern and deliver results you can see.

Our new topical creams are exclusive Rx formulas made with premium ingredients that bring real results. As with the rest of our products, they are made locally in Ontario, with only vegan ingredients and never tested on animals.

We offer a regular and a premium line. Our premium line is PCCA approved, with ingredients from trusted sources, following stricter regulations and rigorous testing, which result in less possibility of adverse reactions.

PCCA is the world leader in pharmacy compounding, offering patented bases for personalized topical products that work as a stable, hydrating foundation for active ingredients.

What are the main areas of concern?

1. Hyperpigmentation Broadly speaking, hyperpigmentation is an excess of pigment in the skin. It can look like a dark patch or a dark spot and there are many causes.

Post-acne scarring is a big concern for those struggling to maintain a clear complexion. These scars usually come with inflammation of the skin and leave a dark mark behind that can take months to heal.

Sun damage is another leading cause of hyperpigmentation. Due to prolonged exposure to the sun workout protection the melanin in our skin will concentrate and manifest in dark spots over the exposed areas.

Other causes can be underlying health conditions, like melasma, which manifests itself as darker patches of skin as a consequence of a hormonal imbalance, including that which occurs during pregnancy.

2. Hydration Have you ever felt such thirst, water couldn’t satisfy you? Well, maybe you needed to replenish essential minerals and electrolytes.

When it comes to skin, we see a similar phenomenon: you can layer on the moisturizers, but your skin is still dry, itchy, patchy, or even flakey.

Similarly, water alone won’t give your skin the hydration it needs. A premium quality moisturizer is the best way to achieve plump, dewy, fresh-looking skin.

Farsk Topicals are all delivered in a highly hydrating base that creates a protective layer on the skin to lock in the moisture.

How Can We Treat Hyperpigmentation and Loss Of Hydration in Our Skin?

1. Vitamin C Two of our skin-treating topicals, Clara and Lumina, have vitamin C as a key ingredient. This way, the benefits of Vitamin C are absorbed directly by your skin -these include hydrating, brightening, resurfacing and evening out the skin tone.

Also known as Ascorbic Acid, vitamin C tackles hyperpigmentation from sun damage or acne scarring. It also helps preserve existing collagen levels of the skin, which can contribute to faster healing of scars and wounds.

Vitamin C is an effective ally to treat blemishes and facilitate healing of the scars they leave behind, as well post-acne hyperpigmentation and sun damage.

2. Glutathione The coveted Glutathione is a trendy ingredient all over the world. Two of our topicals, Lumina and Gloria, have this popular skin lightener that also offers antioxidant benefits to the skin.

Glutathione inhibits melanin production, resulting in lightening of the skin. It also prevents visible signs of ageing of the skin -like fine lines, hydration and elasticity, given its powerful antioxidant properties.

Gloria particularly, is a potent topical that can target stubborn hyperpigmentation and it is particularly effective in larger areas, like elbows or armpits.
